Suggestions
Do you have any great ideas for powerpoint projects or other projects for this class? We do have acess to a video camera if we need one. Some of you have mentioned some ideas and have told me what you'd like to do. Let me know on this blog what direction we should be going in. Do you think we need to focus more on powerpoint or should we focus on word processing or another program? I look forward to reading your responses!

I think we should continue to use powerpoint for a few more projects. However I do think it would be fun to venture into other programs and get to know them as well as we know powerpoint. I think we should do another powerpoint on our personal lives which includes our family, friends, what college we plan to attend, and what we believe our future may hold. I believe this would be fun and it would also give us a chance to get to know each other better.
Um, I really don't know. I like doing the powerpiont projects because you can be creative, but this last one was kind of dull. I think we should do some more personalized powerpoints. Not any really good ideas I know but thats all I can think of right now.
I think we should do something in which we can be very creative. We have many programs like CS2,and InDesign and we will be getting Photoshop very soon and with these programs you can be very creative. Other than that, I really don't know what else we should do, as long as it's no word processing.

As of now I don't have any ideas for future powerpoint projects. Since the class is on its second powerpoint project I would like to use other programs. I don't have any suggestions for which programs we should use because I'm not familiar with any. The video camera idea sounds interesting so maybe thats the direction we should be headed for.
I think we should do powerpoints that shows more of our lives with our families and friends. Also believe that we should do athletes, sports rather they are school and or professional
OOOHHH- I like that idea, Teaira! We could do a lot with that and really showcase the final product! Keep the ideas coming! I feel yucky : (

I have tried posting this a million times. I really haven't waited this long to post this.
Anyways... I personally am getting tired of PowerPoint. We have been doing it since before Thanksgiving. Not that I hate it or anything, but it is getting old. Maybe we could do something to make it different. I don't mind doing them, but we need to spice it up. :)
By "word processing," do you mean doing stuff on Microsoft Word? I'm not too sure about that either. I think we all do enough of that already. I don't know. Didn't you talk about doing pod casts earlier in the year? Not too sure about that either, but it is something different. I'm not too sure of anything anymore.

I belive the power points are great and I am so happy I know how to do them now.However, I believe we have done enough. I know I am going to HATE myself for saying this, but you should give us another project similar to the Waterfront one. I have not written an essay since then, and I think I am forgetting how to even write. And I know once you give it to us, I am going to hate it, and so will everyone else, but I think it would be the best thing for us ( well at least me ) to do right now. But whatever it is that you give us, I am sure it will make sense.

I truly feel that powerpoint projects are getting a little played out! We have done many poerpoints on varies topics, and I have enjoyed them all but I personally feel its time to move away from powerpoint projects and maybe work more on our newspaper. The Code is in progress but more articles can be done and pictures are needed! News and Events should be posted as well. I also feel that we should begin doing such projects that involve imovie or just anything that we can begin showing actions in the form of movies. It will deffiently be a new experience for all of us and I truly feel an enjoyable proect that everyone would want to turn in!
We can create instrumentals to express how we feel. interesting yet complicated. VERY!!!

Ay dios mios!!!!! Te Amo! Well I think that we are done with powerpoint for right now. Because now I am just bored in this class...well not really, but you get my point. I think we should have a school podcast, broadcast school events , accomplishments and wot-not. OOOOOHHHHHHHH!!! We should make a class iMovie, with clips from us at where we work!!!! And for those of us lazybutts who don't have jobs they have to show one of their parents at work.

I have like so far all of the projects that we have done so far, ebven though I have had many difficulties. I really do not have any ideas for any fun projects. Some of the ones that I would like to do have to do with me and my family and friends. I very much like the comercial project because the topics are very much related to our eveyda lives. I like the idea of doing topics such as drugs, sex, others such as maybe domestic violence, and even eating disorders, because these are situations that sorround us every day. I want to do presentations where I mught be able to portray a situation that has caused a change in my life or that has taught me something about life.
But over all I pretty much love your class and what we have worked on.
I like the powerpoint so I think we should stay with it or with movie editing I like doing that as well. As for a new project I like the discussion we had the other day in which we said we should do a presentaion on our idol(s) whether it be through powerpoint or a movie both options are good.
I tried to submit this a while ago but um yea... Anyways, I think it woud be a good idea if maybe we interviewed a friend or someone we don't really know. If we did something like that with a friend we could find domething out about them that we didn't eve know. If we did that with a stranger, we could learn a lot about someone and perhaps find some things in common and maybe even gain a new friend.
